Internship Program

Setting the groundwork for the leaders of tomorrow

Every year The Community Impact Office "CIO,"will choose 1 College Senior or Graduate student who resides in District 6 in Prince George's County, MD. 

 

The CIO will choose one Freshman or Sophomore at Prince George's Community College who resides in District 6 in Prince George's County.

The CIO will choose one HS Senior (Class of 2025) and one HS Junior (Class of 2026) who resides in District 6 in Prince George's County.

College Student Requirements

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Familiar with Google Suite Program & Microsoft Office

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Ability to organize and present data

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • Ability to contact and secure donations and support for the program

  • Ability to communicate with various institutions for usage of space

  • Social media activity supervisor

  • Video production app. skills

  • Work with leadrship students with video development

  • Must reside in District 6 in Prince George's County, MD

  • Should have transportation / Access to Zoom

  • Total Hours: 110 hours

  • Per Hour: $22.00

High School Student Requirements

  • Strong office skills related to organizing and interpreting data.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong Correspondence Writing Skills. 

  • Work with the CIO fundaraising team

  • Works well in a team envrinoment

  • Social Media Skills

  • Welcoming Demeanor 

  • Must reside in District 6 in Prince George's County, MD

  • Should have transportation / Access to Zoom

  • Total Hours: 60 hours

  • Per Hour: $18.00
